I am taking the week off of blogging so I hope you don’t mind. I am currently in Paris for a quick vacation, a break from work at the office and from my online ventures!

But I did do a quick search on Physician Salaries in France. From what I can tell, GPs here in France make about 80k to 140k USD. I couldn’t find many good sources so this is just very general!!

The Doctor Is Not In [infographic] Site Update My Apologies

Sorry this post is late in the day folks.  I had an extremely busy weekend and a very busy day today.  One of the things I did over the weekend was quite interesting and medically related so I will prepare that post and share it with you later on this week.  The rest of my weekend was about getting all of my administrative paperwork done.  With my office partner gone, I’m suddenly in charge of twice as many patients but still limited to the previous amount of time.  It’s been hard…on me, my staff, and all of our patients.  But, I do what I can and work extra here and there to stay caught up.  I’m looking forward to my new partner arriving in August!

Anyways, I’ll work on a post tonight and have it ready for you tomorrow.

Working On Call – What’s the dough? MD Salaries Update Make Money Doing History & Physicals Only

Hello folks!

I am writing from the hospital today. I just wanted to give you a quick update on the site. Over the weekend, I added a couple things that are meant to be helpful.

The first is located within the sidebar. It is a complete list of specialties right next to the average salary for that specialty. It gives you a birds eye view of the salary potential for different physician specialties. You can also sort the list from Hi to Lo or vice versa and you can also search quickly. I’ve also added links to it so you can access further information about the specialty by clicking within the list.

The second & third is a popup window and attention bar at the top when you enter the site. It’s main purpose is to inform you to maximize your browser window. Why? The WordPress theme I’m using has a feature called Responsive Layout. That means no matter what your screen size is, the site will adapt to it to keep the site’s size the same. Exellent for mobile phones. What’s The drawback? If you have a small window on your laptop, the site will also be adapted which means you won’t be able to see all the goodies I’ve put in the sidebars! The sidebars will be displaced to the bottom of the site. I’m working on a solution but for now the popup and attention bar serve as your reminders. Also, the popup window is great for social sharing so please, if you like what I’ve written, pass the site to your friends!

Dear Readers,

Thanks for joining me at MD Salaries’ new home with it’s very own dot com domain! It came at a hefty price but I believe it’s worth it for you to access the website a little easier. It’s easier to remember at least!

I’ve moved all posts from Blogger over to here on WordPress. As you can see, the template is much different than the previous one. Currently, I am organizing the main menu so that you can access the physician salary articles according to fields that physicians can work in. This WordPress template has a Responsive feature, which means that it will maintain it’s style even if you look at the site on your mobile phone, tablet, or desktop. However, I have noticed some discrepancies with the navigation so please bare with me as I optimize the menu bar.

In addition, I will also be updating the content, tags, and auto-posting to the Facebook Fan Page and my twitter account.

Hey readers, I just wanted to update you real quickly on some changes to MD Salaries.  I’ve tweaked the Categories on the right so that it’s easier to navigate.  Before, clicking on the specialty name would bring up the post summary for that specialty.  It would require you to click again to read the whole article.  Very annoying.  Now, you just need to click on it once and get the full article from the get-go.

Now, I am working on re-tagging all posts to make finding things a little easier.  Ideally, it will culminate in a tag cloud that will be more visually appealing and help you find topics that aren’t necessarily in the categories list.
